Laser Genesis is one of our most-requested treatments at our boutique skin clinic in Beecroft, where we look after clients from across Sydney’s northern suburbs and North Shore. It’s a non-ablative laser treatment that works beneath the surface to encourage your own collagen, helping your skin look calmer, smoother and more even. Results build gradually over a course of treatments and vary from person to person.
The team here is led by Sarah Hudson, a Cutera Laser Genesis Key Opinion Leader, and between us we’ve performed many thousands of Laser Genesis treatments. That depth of experience is the difference. Every session is tailored to your skin on the day, not delivered to a fixed setting.
Laser Genesis is a non-invasive laser treatment that warms the upper layers of the skin to encourage collagen production over time. It isn’t what most people picture when they think of laser. There’s no ablation and no needles, and most people need little to no recovery time. Most clients find it warm and comfortable, and many simply relax through the session.
Because it works gradually, Laser Genesis suits people who want a considered, lower-downtime approach to skin health rather than a single dramatic procedure. It’s suitable for a wide range of skin types.

Laser Genesis is often used to help improve the appearance of:
Results vary from person to person. The right approach for your skin is something we’ll talk through at your skin analysis, where we can also tell you whether another treatment, or a combination, would serve you better.
The laser warms the skin to around 42 degrees in the upper dermis, the layer where collagen lives. This subtle warmth encourages the skin’s natural collagen-building process. By adjusting the device through the session, we can focus the treatment on what your skin needs, for example concentrating on areas of redness where small capillaries sit closer to the surface.
There’s no set downtime. Some clients notice mild redness that usually settles within an hour or so. Because results build gradually, a course of treatments is recommended rather than a one-off, with the detail tailored to your skin at your consultation.
Skin by Sarah Hudson is an independent, boutique clinic. When you come in, you’re treated by an experienced team who know skin deeply and take the time to understand yours.

A skin analysis is required first, so we can confirm Laser Genesis is suitable for your skin before you book. Individual results vary.
The best place to start is a skin analysis with our team. We’ll look closely at your skin, talk through what’s bothering you, and let you know whether Laser Genesis is the right fit, along with what a realistic plan looks like. Enquire with our team or book a skin analysis via the button below.

Laser Genesis can be used across a wide range of skin types, but it isn’t necessarily the right choice for everyone or every concern. That’s exactly what your skin analysis is for, so you can make an informed decision with our team.
At the end of your course we’ll recommend an individual maintenance plan, combining homecare and any further treatments, to help you get the most from your results.
