“I know firsthand how embarrassing leg veins can be and as a lover of high heels and a career spent on my feet, I have my share of veins that need treatment too!”
Sarah Hudson
The NdYag advanced medical vascular laser treatment by Cutera effectively treats a broad range of vessels – ranging from superficial spider veins to deep blue leg veins – quickly and safely.
How Do Vascular Laser Treatments Work?
The laser coagulates the blood vessels which allows them to be re-absorbed by the body. Although some instantly disappear, they can take up to a month to be totally re-absorbed.
How Does this Treatment Compare to Sclerotherapy?
Many clients prefer vein therapy with laser as there are no painful injections.
What Conditions Can Be Treated With Laser?
Prior to treatment a consultation and careful evaluation with Sarah Hudson will determine which vessels can be treated.
How Many Treatments are Required?
The number of treatments necessary depends on the number, color, depth and size of the vessels being treated however many clients find that the majority of the treated veins have shown significant improvement within two to six weeks of treatment. The client with a few vessels may need two to four treatments while those with more prominent veins may need five to six treatments, generally a month apart. This, along with aftercare, will be determined during your consultation.

For the majority of clients, yearly maintenance treatments will keep vessels at bay. If there has been significant sun damage in the past or little skin maintenance then six-monthly treatments may be required.
