“Unsightly veins on the face are not only embarrassing for many clients but can make the skin appear more aged as well. This is especially true for men who don’t have the benefit of covering their veins with make-up. And because facial veins vary in size, I use a combination of Laser and IPL to deliver the most effective results”

The Three C’s of Facial Veins – Condition, Cause, Clinical Solution
Commonly seen in Anglo Saxon skin types, skin is thinner and finer meaning veins have a more transparent appearance on the skins surface. As the nose and cheeks are a highly vascular area, if left untreated, veins will continue to dilate and become more noticeable.
The appearance of veins on the face is often caused by continual skin flushing, causing the vessel walls to dilate. This can be due to a number of factors including hormones, genetics, smoking and weather extremities, with any amount of previous sun damage potentially exacerbating the problem.
Facial veins can be both superficial (epidermal layer) and deeper (dermal layer) therefore different treatment modalities are needed to achieve the most effective result.
